Werner Völp,

born 1958 in Frankfurt. After graduating from high school, he studied sociology and ethnology, studying in Mexico and Guatemala, and writing a diploma on the subject of cultural change in traditional societies. After that, he first gained work experience in an advertising agency and then took over the position of marketing director in a Frankfurt book and magazine publisher for many years.

Ursula Casellas,

Born in 1960 in Siegburg spent her childhood and youth in the Rhine-Main area. After finishing school, she learned the profession of gardener assistant. In a nursery she was able to gain a lot of experience in the field of ornamental plants. Parallel to this, she graduated as an airbrush designer at the Kunsthochschule Bochum.

They  have a son who lives and works in Germany and accompanied them on many of our adventures. From 1996 to 2007 they were the owners of a small finca in Spain, which served them as a second home. Here they cultivated olives and wine.
